I need partners in and around Las Vegas for most of March. I'll be showing up around the 5th and leaving the 2nd of April. I'll be attending the Red Rock Rendezvous. I'd be into Joshua tree, Zion, or am open to other places as well. My tick list for Red Rock: Cloud Tower Lone Star Breathing stone Og route rainbow wall, free. Some new and newer routes. The buffalo wall...any 1 of the 3. Hidden Wall? Blitzkreig? Plus I just want to climb a lot so suggest something! Thanks! josh

Bump! My tick list might look a bit stout, but I'm honestly up for 5.7 as well. While I'd love to tick off the routes on my list, I totally value a good day with a good person as well. josh

Yep. Been here a coupl'a months already, got the ice tools out of the closet. Poor things, they're "vintage" already! -sigh- I s'pose I should change my nametag to say something "right" coast-ish, but damnit, I had to give up my CA license last week and that was traumatic enough.

She moved out east alright...after spending like 2 MONTHS sleeping in my spare room for FREE, drinking my beer, scaring off possible 1 night stands(snicker), and generally just freeloading. She did make a pretty good lasgana though. So it looks like there's going to be a few folks in Vegas looking to climb. I'll be sending PM's to all that have replied as the time gets closer. Still looking for more partners especially earlier in the month...so anyone interested PLEASE POST UP! josh

Josh: I'm free March 19th - 22nd (arrive late the 18th.... 11pm or so, and would have to return to PHX on the 22nd early afternoon.) If you've got a free day, I'd buy the beer for a rope gun on Epinepherine (or something else long... Prince of Darkness, etc.) Lemme know.

I only ask that it be something reasonable, not one of your 40 pitch 5.hard routes that you want to simul-climb in 35 minutes or something.

Hi Josh, I'm super enthusiastic about climbing at Red Rocks this season! I live in LA but am free most weekends. It's very hard to find partners who can commit a whole weekend away from LA. Right now I'm just climbing easy stuff while a finger injury recovers but the following are on my list: Epinephrine Prince of Darkness Dream of Wild Turkeys Crymson Crysallis Levitation 29 (once my finger recovers I could follow this) I'm an experienced leader on moderate routes but I'm trying to improve so I'm willing to follow in the 11's. I'm also interested in climbing things fast and efficiently. You can email at brii at ucla dot edu. Cheers, Brian

Hey, I'm planning on going to the rendezvaus and may come out as early as March 22. I'm an experienced climber, but recovering from a broken ankle (a result of a 40 ft slab fall in August) so I might be taking it a bit easy. I definitaly want to get out on the rocks and so far don't have any climbing partners in Red Rocks. Let me know if you'd be interested in roping up together! *Julia

I'm planning to be there next weekend (3/7-9). I'd love to get on some moderate trad routes, multi or cragging. I cut my teeth on PNW granite so my RR sandstone lead grades are still on the soft side (5.6-7 for trad), but I'd be stoked to follow some stiffer routes to hone up the sandstone skillz. I've followed Cat in the Hat, and led Physical Graffitti, 1st pitch of Ragged Edges, 1st pitch of Geronimo, and most of the SP 5.6's at Willow Springs. That still leaves a pretty big ticklist! I have my own room and transport, rope and rack. PM if you're still looking to partner on those dates. Edited to add: I've got a partner lined up. Thanks, all!

I'm in Vegas now and feeling very good. I need a super solid partner for; Blitzkreig on the Hidden Wall...which may be the second ascent and would certainly be an adventure! Also I'd like to do Tatanka on the Buffalo wall...which also may be the second ascent... and more adventure. Anyone? josh

I said I was stoked man. What's up? I think Hidden Wall is definitely wet though. Second ascent's been done. The rock on Hidden is shitty. Are you trying to free climb on the B-wall or aid it? Give me a PM and let's meet up.

Sorry dude. I had a partner for the first bit I was there....then went up to solo Tatanka and sprained my ankle hiking. Climbing was out so I drove to the coast to surf....and blew a head gasket on my truck so now I'm stuck in LA until the end of the week at the earliest. Hidden wall looked a little wet still, the buff was dry. josh
