I am going to be in LA for a few days and was wondering about a good sport climbing area within a few hours of LAX. I can only lead 10s and feel too rusty for trad so no places with a lot of mixed routes. Any suggestions?

Malibu Creek is probably the closest good sport climbing area, but there isn't a lot there under 5.10. Echo Cliffs is also near by, but it can be a bit chossy. You could also head up to the high desert and go to either New Jack City or Apple Valley Crags, but those are a longer drive (about 2hrs).
