Getting ready to do a couple walls back to back with minimal time in between and wondering if my gear has the endurance to make it. Anyone have experience and mileage with Metolious adjustable aiders and daisies? If so, how long,(how many pitches) did you get? Mine look good and have around a hundred pitches, but will they make another hundred? Trying to find out where to spend the last of this years gear funds before it's time to fire up some bigger rock.
Anyone know? Oh, and this is the gear I've chosen and am used to' so really want to hear opinions on this specifically. Practical experience says I'm faster and more adept with the metolious adjustables over my BD ladders and conventional daisies and fifi's. Thanks in advance.

You can buy replacement webbing for the daisies through Metolius. I seem to recall it was around $10.
There is no similar replacement webbing for the aiders.
I've been using my daisies for a long time now. I had to replace one bit of webbing due to a hard daisy fall (I know, you aren't supposed to fall on a daisy).

Mine are showing color change and dirt but no wear. I do not know how the replacement webbing could be user installed as mine are sewn to the buckles. Thanks though, I'm going to check with them.

i've so far gotten years of life out of mine, and expect many more. the trick to making them last, and to also not sit around like a lazy ass, is to just not adjust them.

I replace the webbing after it gets fuzzy and hard to pull. A hundred or so pitches sounds about right. You can order replacement webbing from Metolius for $5 each. I would suggest going ahead and getting the webbing so that you can replace it whenever you wish. You'll be replacing it sooner or later anyway.

Thanks TomTom, I read the metolius page for the new ones but did not see the replacement items. Ordered new set for this year and they just came in today. Will try to refurbish the old ones now. Thanks for the replies. Problem solved.
