Why is there a lack of intelligent discourse on rc.com? All i see is shit talking and noob questions! If all you experienced climbers out there have to do is talk shit about others, grow up! If you don't like hearing noob questions, tune into something else. I rarely hit up rc.com, but when I do I find a bunch of unqualified elitists. Understand that there are many folks who are WAY better than you and who don't look down upon you. I ask that you treat noobs with the same respect that the pros treat you all. Don't be assholes... Brandon Mayo- Feel free to disagree with me at btmayo79@yahoo.com I will accept rational discourse. Jackasses will be mocked.

yeah, that's all nice and stuff. but this is an online forum. what do you expect? unless you moderate the shit out of it and ban all who flame and troll, it's not gonna change anytime soon. most forums are like this so it's not anything new.

Sorry, pal. There's a few (websites)out there that aren't filled with inane thoughts and predisposed commentary. Look around man. What we really need is intelligent discourse but I only seem to find folks who want to stir shit up, or others who feel superior. I agree that I'm stirring the pot, but I'm doing so to try and bring on some creative discussion. Cheers, Brandon-

The real problem is that with a domain name like rockclimbing.com, there are going to be a lot of transient flamers, sprayers, aggros and retards stumbling in. So, like you say, look around, there are better sites for reading, writing, and conversing about rock climbing. They have less blatant, lowest-common-denominator names. Sad, yes; ironic, maybe, but true, regardless. Not to say don't enjoy reading stuff here and throwing in a comment or two. There are lots of top-notch fun-loving old-soul climbers on here. Signal to noise is kind of weak overall. But what do you want for free?

Hey, like I said I'm just stirring the pot, where are the free tacos? I love fish tacos! Post content!! Put up your TR's if you have any, ask questions about new areas, go climbing!! Best wishes and all love, Brandon- Edited to say that personal TR's are forthcoming. Let's try to up the quality quotient! B- Also, to the moderators, I feel that this belongs more in the general area rather than 'Suggestions & Feedback. Let's try and up the content here...

You posted this originally in S&F. There are many on here who feel the same as you do. However, only by adding valuable content to this site will you become part of the solution instead of the problem.
