I'll be visiting next week. I see directions in the routes database, but can't find route info available online (only an out-of-print guidebook that I can't get my hands on). Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would also like to know of a book/website where I can find details on this place. I plan to stay with a friend in Laguna Beach this summer and I think I might just have to stop by and pay pirates cove a visit.

I don't know of anything except for the old (out of print) Bouldering Guide to Southern California. There really are not that many distinct problems there though. Just go and follow the chalk. If you've never been - you'll have fun. Once you get to Corona Del Mar Beach, you will have to go over a small hill / rock formation (on your right when facing the ocean and in line with the rock jetty). This will take you down into a much smaller beach area. At this point the bouldering will be obvious.

Anyone who is interested, send me an e-mail and I will reply with the route list and map. It's old, but it will help.
