I (unfortunately) will not be able to make it this year. Too much going on as we try to wrap up a big remodel to my home. Last year was great though and the climbing there is superb. If anyone has not yet been, this is a good chance to meet the locals and have a good time.

I wish... Last Year was Kick-Ass!!! I (unfortunately/also) will not be able to make it this year. (Although my reason will not as Good as Socalbolter's.) I'll, have to be in Spearfish, SD. hanging on there... Damn Limestone for two weeks in May!! Just about all the climbers/friends I know in AZ. I know from climbing at The Homestead...(I don't count Curt, he's the one that told me about the place!) I was climbing with James (a AZ/Local) just last weekend in Hells Canyon, ID. We talked a lot about the Homestead. Mid-Oct is my next Snow/Bird/Climber/AZ/Trip You Guys, Take one for me!

Hey Dave, You may want to hit the 10 pins area and some of the other more "classic" Needles climbing venues while you're in the neighborhood. Curt

Curt, I did 2 of the 10 last tripand I'm sure I'll have to do 1 or 2 more this trip. I also spent some time at Rushmore. But to be Honest, It's all about the Limestone and the side trips to Iso, Tamo and Binghamland are just the Iceing on A Great Big Cake! If I was not going to be in South Dakota climbing there limestone... I'd be in Arizona climbing with Friends!!!

Again, we had a nice little tight crowd that all climbed together. The weather was a little warm but super over all esp. in the shade. The Shark Wall was scoped out for future development and we tried real hard to get to Upper Bonetown to do Larry's new one Pone Tony...next time Larry...Some new faces and a couple Homesteadians. I am still sore so we must have done a ton of climbing...went for the 10 in a day theme again...man I love that out there, talk about getting worked. Till next season....if anyone goes out and looks in the right spots they will have wood for the fire out the yingyang!
