Hi. I am seriously considering visiting Brazil next year but I can't find much information.
I am interested in long (100 to 600 m) moderate (up to 6a-6b French grade) routes in a middle mountain (about 1500-3000 m) landscape. Sport or trad doesn't matter. I'd like to get a general idea of the main climbing regions in Brazil (the south-eastern part). I want to spend about 1 and a half months there but that means nonstop climbing. ;)
I'll appreciate every help.

You will find plenty of these climbs upstate Rio de Janeiro.
that means no more then 2,5 hours drive from the state's capital (Rio de Janeiro city)
Itatiaia, Serra dos Órgãos and P.E. Três Picos are the most recomended areas.

check this

Minas Gerais and São Paulo are great options too.
Talk to username frechou for infos about Pedra do Baú in the city of São Bento do Sapucaí.

One option for you is to come to Rio (city), look for the clubs, the pro guides, the climbers, talk to them and arrange climbs to those areas.
You can climb in the city too, there are lots of 100-600m routes here, but the peaks are no higher them 1000m from sea level.
