Hey all, My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Seaside next week. We already booked the hotel and she was reading that beaches open up at 9am and close at 5pm. The website we found this information on was not very elaborate. Could anyone help us out? What exactly do they close? Is the beach it self closed or just there supervision of the waters so to speak? Any info would be great! Chris

My grandfather lives just down the road from there, I'm fairly certain that the lifeguards go home at 5pm, but the beach is still open, but I haven't been there in a few years, so that might not still be the case. FYI, Its not that I haven't seen Grampa, its just that I haven't been to the beach. dev
