I was freeing they died at cathedrel this weekend, and couldn't get it done due to snow and cold. so I aided up alot of it, here's my question: What's the best system for aiding with only the gear you'd have while freeing?

The system you would need to use is called French free. What you do is simply free as much as you can and feel free to pull on the silver jugs whenever you wish. If you are finding it hard to pull on the silver jugs then you`ll need to improvise aiders. You do this by using long quickdraws and slings to form a ladder. Have a biner clipped in your belay loop so that you can rest on a quickdraw or in directly to the piece. Above all have fun. ...Phil...
