Dave, isn't table rock a bit cool this time of year? I think I was there in early oct. and the mornings were very cold for my friends. I climb outdoors down to 30. sungam is in the air, I guess.

Hey Charley - Low 50's and dry this week at the Gorge - I was out at Rumbling Bald last weekend and it was perfect temps. We're gonna be short on time this week, so I think Haggisdonny and I are just gonna run up to Pilot for a half day. I'd like to take him to Moore's, but that place really is cold in shade this time of year. So Sungam's first climb of the roadtrip will be clipping bolts at Pilot! The rest of you shouldn't have much trouble beating that! Although I'm sure we'll have a laugh anyways.

The bald is usually warmer. 50's is fine with me. I think it was 30's in the mornings. We had fun anyhow. What day will you be at pilot?

My flight was just delayed for over 3 hours. I'm in amsterdam. I'm not going to make my connection in detroit. I'm going to have to spend a night in the airport. Fuck this shit!! Pilot better be good! I need to wind down after this.

In detroit for the night, KLM paid for the room. Flight was shit. Lotsa turbulance and this cute trolly dolly came along with tasty food every 20 minutes so I never really got to sleep. I got my whole luggage searched etc. for drugs. He was curious about the croc but didn't ask. I'm fucking starving. They gave me a food voucher, and there was 40 mins till the place you ordered from shut, but since I had no credit card they took ages to activate my phone and I missed out. Raging.

Welcome [back?] to the USA! God, I hope your experience climbing is better than your flight was! That sounds like hell in the air. Last time I tried to fly, I sat in the plane for three hours before getting off. The plane didn't move a single inch, they never even bothered to fully close the door... Sucked nuts. hosh.

They leave the door cracked because the regulations change for a plane that is taxiing. Quite literally, the rules change the moment they fully shut the door per the FAA. Regardless, flying can definitely suck ass. On the bright side, now that Delta merged with NorthWest there is one less crappy airline.

Climbed some good "Rowts" (heheh, you say it funny), met some super cool people, and even got a free pair of climbing shooz (see earlier comment about cool people). Spare shooz are good seeing as I left one of mine in scotland...

Yeah, I'll prolly end up over there. I just picked up a camera and a phone. Once I work out how to work this damn thing I'll post up my phone number, but I warn you that any prank callers will suffer the perma-banz Thanks to the camera (a sexy beast, btw) all encounters will now be caught on film and video.
