I've got a pair of Gap cords that came off the clearance rack for 7 dollars that are great for chilling weather, but as for something climbing specific my favorites are the Patagonia Sender pants and Scrambler shorts, both awesome, with a great cut and super durable. THe Scramblers are tough as bricks, and now, after their 3rd season of getting beat on, they still look almost new. I normally wear the Prana Mojo shorts in the gym, their light and it's always balls-ass hot in the gym,so they work out.

usually i climb in whatever I was wearing before I decided to go climbing. This is also how I choose my runnng outfit, which my girlfriend thinks is ridiculous. She says it always looks like im running from someone.

She says it always looks like im running from someone. I know what you mean. I wear my Dickies work pants for work and play, and sometimes I even wear them while working out in the gym. I'm sure I look like a total tool, but then again, I probably look like a tool no matter what I'm wearing.

For everything but winter, Prana Zion Pants are awesome. They're my favorite. I also like the Arc'tyrex capris, they' pretty comfy too, but the zion pants are amazing.

I normally get mine from clearance racks so they aren't normally available later on. Most of mine are Prana because they are cut well for climbing.

I really like arborwear pants for climbing. They are as burly as carharts, but have a gusseted crotch and double knees!

Be nice to at least have something bit more climbing specific, cut so you can stem fully for example, and a waist that doesn't interfere with the harness. Also a fly of some type any favorites out there or fave companies. Just poking around not seeing a lot. thanks Jeans & a thrift store tee.
