Can anybody suggest a good non-technical alpine route, maybe in the southern sierra. I have a fair amount of winter hiking experience (snow-shoes, crampons, self arrest) but no gear or know how for vertical ice. Looking for a good 2-3 day route to hit on the way home from LA (relatives live) to Sacramento (I live).
