The large pinetree in front of the Panty Wall snapped off at the trunk about four feet from the ground, perhaps due to high winds on dec. 25? It was still standing last Tuesday. The beautiful conifer was a welcome provider of shade and will be missed by many, particularly during the summer. Farewell fine friend.

Sweet Jesus that's a tragedy. Will there be a memorial service? I hope someone called the Whaambulance. Sorry to sound harsh but it's a tree. No less, it's a tree at a crag with like 2-3 days of routes on it if you're slow. I just soloed them.

The tree was a beautiful tree and a good landmark for location for people who had never been to Red Rocks. Yes, the tree will be missed, and "angry" well... you're just angry.
