Boy Scout Canyon is also known as Pig Rock. Although I don't have any info regarding those routes (besides that I think the people(s) who put them up love in Boulder City) there is some bouldering in the canyon which is covered in Southern Nevada Bouldering, by Tom Moulin. The quality is generally sub-Red Rocks, but many enjoy it. See snellpress.com

Resurrecting a 2 yr old thread! The pour off referred to is about a 350' drop off. When I hiked to it I saw the bolts and I'm sure people set them up to rap off of. It would be a long and awesome rap! You've got to have a super long rope then maybe jumar to the top or hike back around. I doubt it's climbable in pitches as the rock about 50' below the bolts looked very loose and sandy.

Those bolts were put in about 20 years ago by a friend of mine. He used them to rappel down the waterfall. He also told me a vague story of a local guy who may have used the bolts and rappel for his eco-challenges (I am assuming triathlon like activities.) I would also guess it to be about 350+ ft. tall. I always wanted to go to the bottom of the canyon, high above the flood waters in a rainstorm to check out the waterfall.

I have hiked to the top of the pour off several times and have hiked up from the Colorado River also (great diversion on a Kayaking trip). Have also heard that there is a way down (up?) that is not technical but a tough scramble. So at 350' is there a second rap station somewhere?
