I ran across these quickdraws and couldn't find any info or reviews anywhere. This site doesn't list all of the relevant information, but I'm still curious because of the price and the bent wire gates. Anybody got some info on these Cypher draws? http://www.silvertipmountaincenter.com/...25.html?catId=125741

Simply based on the photo, they look like crap. But who knows, they might be decent...? hosh.

They look fine for a casual sport climber. But if you’re a hard core project worker you want to get something better.

If price is your main criteria for what draws to buy, check out Gear X, they have a lot of 2nds and blems from black diamond and other companies for pretty cheap. I got my first set kong ultralights from them. I dont like the draws the but the service was great http://gearx.com/...ners_quickdraws.html

That's not even a good deal considering they are no name draws. If you want cheap and light wirgates get Madrock or Climbaxe. I have the climbaxe draws and they are the favorite biners on my rack.

yeah I have got a bunch of climb-axe draws too, very light and nice gate functions. Good draws and flipping awesome price ($10 per draw)

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up getting a set of these for $11/draw: http://www.sierratradingpost.com/...ct.aspx?baseno=1526d Good deal considering backcountry is selling them for $25/draw! They're not quite as strong as Petzls but they look super smooth!

good pick. I have a few of them and they are really nice to clip. I paid like 18 a piece for them when I bought them though, may have to pick up a few more.
