Spring is on its way, for some, but not here in the north. We just got a blizzard and 10in of snow. Anyway, because summer is on its way what are your plans and goals for this up coming spring and summer climbing season. Lets hear it!

As of right now.. The East Buttress of Mt Whitney is a possibility. Definitely some stuff on Cannon, Moby Grape looks pretty sick. Get back to try the Y Couloir on Pikes Peak since last spring we failed miserably during a snow storm.

This summer I am going to road trip a lot more as long as the gas stays at decent price. Looking at a week long trip to South Dakota - hit custer and hopefully get a lot of multi pitch climbing in. Also Ill be hitting Devils Tower sometime. My goals aren't to set in stone but I would like to really push my self on trad. More so than last year. (I just had to post on my own forum. ) edit: spelling (man do I suck at spelling.

Provided my finger injury doesn't regress: Leaving tomorrow for a week of bouldering/climbing in the Unaweep Canyon area 5 day trip to Shelf Road in early April 5 day trip to Moab in May Getting married in June! Honeymoon #1 is a two week roadtrip to British Columbia with some climbing along the way (honeymoon #2 is Ireland next year). There will be more trips later in the summer and fall but that's all I have planned at this point. d.

Considering this will be my first summer since I started climbing (October), I just want to get out and climb as much as possible. More specifically tho, I want to improve my crack climbing skills. I'm really really looking forward to Lover's Leap drying out so I can do some multi-pitch trad leads. Hopefully make several trips out to Yosemite/Tuolomne. But yeah, overall plan is to just climb as much as possible, and slowly build up a trad rack... Stoked!

I've been mostly sport climbing for the last couple of years, so I'd like to do a little more trad. My sport redpoint and onsight level has increased quite a bit so I'd hope to get on some trad climbs one or two letter grades harder than my previous hardest gear onsights. Place to go: - Red over Easter - New over Victoria Day (same weekend as NRR) - If I have to take vacation in July then maybe Squamish. - Lots of weekends to the steep sport cliff on the Georgian Bay. - Hopefully back to the Red this fall for a week. I feel strong after ice climbing and drytooling this winter. I hope this will help push me through some of my weaknesses in sport climbing.

Indian Creek in June is brutally hot. I'd skip it. I'm rowing my raft through the Grand Canyon in May, and i'm hoping to do a couple of new desert towers before I go.

So maybe I'll bump my utah desert items to the fall. Any other tips would be great - I've never climbed west of CO.

Damn, some of you have a full climbing year... lucky buggahs! For me I intend to get the woody in the yard done and hopefully before the onset of summer. Red Rocks next week. Another trip later in the year but not sure where yet. Maybe Witchita's, definitely E-Rock, possibly Hueco Tanks when the Fall/Winter season arrives.

well, I was going to do Hood, 3 fingered jack and the sisters traverse this summer. But I got a fricken DUI, and lost my license, so I'm going to take a trip to smith next week and get as much crag time in before my license suspension is effective. I might try to hitch my way to the mountains for a couple of the climbs. It shouldn't be too hard to find a ride up to Timberline.
