I'll be climbing in Ton Sai, not that it would be hard to find partners, but if you're game for following up to 11a, or want to lead up to 11c I'd be game for following.

Hey man. I will be in Tonsai on the 20th until May something. I know the place well. Will get on anything up to 7b, which is supposed to be a .12b but I'm not sure how it would compare to where you climb so we'll just call it 7b. I have a few places I want to go and plenty of suggestions also.

The ice is craptacular, cold snaps have led to brittle brittle ice. However, I've been out about 26 days this year on ice regardless. A bad day climbing is still better than going skiing for me : )

Have you been to thailand before. I am thinking of heading there in May and keep hearing it is a rainy month but it is the month that I have off. Any suggestions? Is it easy to meet people?

I have been there before. I heard rains start in May and April should be ok. It is ridiculously easy to meet people. Just ask around, I target groups of threes. There are also boards you can post messages on, just ask at the climbing shops.

Have fun and msg me if you want to meet up.

Thanks for the info. I dont think that I am going to make it out there until the beginning of May but I am glad to hear that it is easy to meet people. I did get told that it rains in May but unfortunately that is when I have the time. Hopefully there will be some sheltered rock and people who are willing to get wet. Have a great trip.
