So, who's showing up to this dealy-o? According to Tom Cecil's Seneca Rocks Mountain Guides website, TradFest will be the official beginning of the season party. It'll be sponsored by "Ground Up", the area's new coffee shop. The date's Saturday, April 11th and the festivities include live music, bar-b-q and all the fixins! Everything begins at 6 p.m. I need a reason to drive up there and this is it. Who else will be there?

I would if I wasn't going to be in Utah that weekend. Went to the end-of-season party last year and it is probably my favorite climbing memory to date. good people.

I just got back from spending the weekend at Seneca (and a total of 12 hours in the car). The weather was great, though a bit windy on Saturday. Today was 75 and sunny...so, we hit up Pleasant Overhangs. Everyone down there is gearing up for the upcoming weekend's TradFest. Don't worry about a partner, just show up and you'll find someone. The Gendarme's open as is the rooftop restaurant. All are welcome!
