Hello!

I´m looking for a good fused (with bolts - not too far apart!!!) climbing area for beginners in the near of Ladner/Richmond/Vancouver. I´m not an experienced lead climber - I´m feeling a bit uncomfortable while leading (max. 5.9). I started climbing last year, but mostly toprope (toprope 5.10a/b). So Ì´m looking for an area where I can learn leading. Any ideas?Smile

go to Squamish (smoke bluffs) and maybe hit Murrin Park on the way there. If you don't mind driving farther... Whistler has some good climbing with no crowds. where did you climb last year??

hey, thanks.

I live in Austria, so I usually climb here. I am going to come to Canada in Summer for 3 months, i will live in Ladner, about 20km below Vancouver. Maybe are there some advisable areas for beginners that are closer?

greetings
