Hey Folks!,
Please come join The Gendarme and Seneca Rocks Climbing School for the 5th annual "Cinco De Mayo"/Beginning of the climbing season party On Saturday, May 2nd! This year we will be hosting; a slide show by Chris Lindner, Saturday shoe demos from Evolv and Scarpa, the ever popular raffle with all proceeds befitting the Friends Of Seneca, A salsa (the food, not the dance) contest, a delicious meal prepare by the legendary Kurt Smith, and free beer to wash it all down with!
There is no charge for this event and all are welcome! Festivities will start with the salsa contest at 6:00 P.M. on the porch of The Gendarme. Judging will be at 6:30 with food to follow shortly after. Be sure to bring your own plate, bowl, utensils, and beer mug to dine with. No Disposables will be available, as we are are trying to be as "green" minded as possible. Also, if you want to eat, be there on time, as the food tends to go fast!
Salsa contest will be a 5 dollar entry fee, winner takes all! Bring your best recipe and see how it stacks up.
Dont let that weather forecast get you down, this event will be happening rain or shine! We look forward to seeing you all then! Lets get excited folks, climbing season is here!

The "Cinco De Mayo" party is just the theme. It will be on the closest Saturday, May the 2nd. So, Mr. rockandlice, I look forward to seeing you there!
