Here's a little trick I do to make the most of my gear when wall climbing. Instead of carrying a "boson's seat" for the belay, I simply tie a 5 ft piece of webbing to each end of the waist strap from the haul bag. You can adjust the length just by tying overhand knots in the straps. Of coarse you need to tie loops on the ends for the carabiners. The big haul bags usually have a waist strap that is beefy enough sit on comfortably for hours. Happy Hangin!
