I came across the term OSGU, in one of my guide books. What does OSUG mean/stand for?
it is used in this tense...and I quote.
"initially lead OSGU with gear, yikes!"

I'm certain that it means "On Sight Ground Up", which is a proud way to do a first ascent.
Still, one of my favorite hobbies is to make up meanings for acronyms.
