I was backpacking and climbing at Yamnuska on Thursday and saw STARS air ambulance dropping rescue personnel and then picking everyone up one by one around 3:30 PM. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened / who was rescued (climbers or hikers?)

Nothing yet huh?

I assume that STARS just did a transfer, they usually aren't directly involved in mountain rescue that I know of. The last one I heard of STARS going out on was in the Ghost, where they landed in the riverbed and did a patient transfer with Alpine Helicopters that extracted an injured climber from the mountainside.
