Looking for a killer bouldering road trip opportunity in California? Might I suggest the second annual Pine Mountain Pulldown going down in just a few weeks - on September 11th - 13th?
Last year's event was so successful, we're back with more sponsors, more entrants, and more awesome festival activities!
Show up on Friday for the West Coast of the REEL ROCK TOUR http://www.reelrocktour.com, meet friends old and new, and camp out at the wonderful and rustic Pine Mountain Inn, just a few miles south of Pine Mountain bouldering.
In the morning, rise and shine - and ride a bus up the treacherous mountain road for a full day of quality sandstone bouldering overlooking the valleys and oceans.
Roll on down the mountain, whether you were feeling the competitive vibe or not, and get hit with fabulous eats (available for purchase in the evening) and flowing beer, arm wrestling, a dyno comp, and San Luis Obispo-based band Still Time: http://www.stilltimemusic.com.
Sunday morning, wake up to a volunteer pancake breakfast and head up the hill once again for an Access Fund Adopt-a-Crag cleanup!
Come for the climbing, leave for the coolness.
