So, I recently got back from the first triple crown and I greased every hold. Sorry to all of you who greased off during your flash attempt, I was likely the culprit of your demise. My question: How can I prep for the comp to get rid of my finger juicin phenomena?

Yea - liquid chalk is where its at. Take some isopropyl alcohol and mix with chalk. Dries 'em right out. those crimps hurt up at Hound Ears....

Thanks guys, I'll try it out. I wonder if I could produce my own concoction with just the alcohol and chalk rather than buying liquid chalk

You can always use some Purell prior to leaving the ground. Works quite well in drying out the hands before chalking up and taking off. Especially good at getting rid of sunblock.

Yeah, super chalk tears up my cuticles and makes for some bloody and painful rounds of pocket pool after a hard day of climbing. I realize that is a pretty sissy thing to worry about but I literally will avoid super chalk as much as possible.

Sounds like you need to invest in some oompa loompas. (It worked for Violet.)

Or just invite Chuck Noris climbing. His presence alone will repel any sweat!

I think he means that violet looked like she could climb 5.16 after the oompa loompas finished with her.. What a weird film.. Edit: Just rememberd that they dejuiced her, witch is more likely to be what he was talking about.

Especially at indoor comps, super headache. I think breathing super chalk antiperspirant may kill someone someday.

Generally, if you have a lot of juice on your fingers, you should "dejuice" by going to the bathroom and washing off... If you have to cuddle first, that's OK, but try to get them washed before breakfast.
