Let's see... -A few small "stocking stuffers" -New iBook battery (old one would hold a charge for about a minute!) -DeWalt 18V Li-Ion battery and charger (I've got lots of DeWalt tools) -The Beatles remastered box set! -Sham-Wow! (no, really.) Best part is spending time with my parents and my girlfriend!

I got the best climbing gift one could want. My wife gave me her blessing to go do some walling in Zion for a few weeks if needed. Wooo Hoooo, many dreamy routes there yet to be realized by me. Doesn't get too much better than that. Bob

I bought myself a new Petzl Tikka Plus 2 headlamp and a couple books, John Long's "Climbing Anchors", and CMC's "Rope Rescue Manual". Figured some more reference material was a good investment. My wife insisted I didn't buy her a present, found out she decided to get herself a new iPod. Shopping for ourselves might not be the most thoughtful thing, but much less chance of the gift being exchanged. lol

I got a tasty dinner with my brothers family. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I don't know how many of you folks have families you really enjoy, but when you do, family time is damn nice. I always laugh at how Christmas is sold as being this great time, and all about family when lots of people don't really enjoy hanging out with their families. Hell, it would take a mountain of presents to bribe me to hang out with some of my friends' families. Color me thankful to not to be closely related to too many assholes. My sympathies go out to those who are.

Good support is nice, but just being able to breathe and be there for it (good, bad and other) can be really satisfying. Good luck!
