I got a 35mm slide/negative scanner. Now I can finally digitize the 1000 or so slides in my collection, like this one from circa 1983... People with lycra allergies may do well to avoid the bulk of my upcoming photo albums...

Thanks, so far we are just trying to get the nersery set up and as ready as we can be... Its a going to be a life changing event and I think for the good too. Ehh scarry another me running around .

I haven't played vids in 20 years. The Wii is pretty cool. The wife and I have a bunch of fun with it. I also got a new contract for work so I am no longer unemployed and poor as dirt. Got the contract on Christmas Eve so I considered it a gift as well.

I received the beautiful Wilson/Roper book, Above All, to help keep my mind in the mountains while my recently reattached Achilles tendon heals on the couch.

I got what I think to be the best crag radio ever. For xmas I recieved the small solar, crank, charge station and battery operated radio from eton (national geographic ed.) It tunes weather bands, am fm radio and has a jack for Ipod. Also an led lantern/flashlight that I ended up needing last night. It is very light weight and after a bit of cranking it played greatful dead hour all night for us while we soaked in the wonderful SO. NV hotsprings.

You know they'll resharpen it back to that excellent edge for free, right? Well I "accidentally" acquired one of their automatics and I'm not LEO or military so I stick to sharpening it myself. I can get it pretty damn close on my own and carry my knife everyday anyway.
