Safety police should like this: using a porta-ledge on an artificial wall. Probably a good idea since the wall is outside and the route, L’univers, le pont et toit, 7c+, is 75 m long http://www.grimper.ch/.../topos/topo_pont.pdf .

The photo was taken by Rainer Eder and appears in the superb Kalender Rocks 2010 http://www.tmms-verlag.de

Cheers,

Ummm...does that first link really go where you want it to go? I can't read French, but I don't think I saw mention of a porta-ledge in the equipment list.

& why not use a porta-ledge on an artificial wall.. my buddy has a hammock in his boulder cave... just for chilling & getting off your feet.

I don't think that's upside down. Look at the legs hanging over the edge of the ledge.

Would be fun to come in there at night after someone's gone to sleep in it and produce a 70mph updraft on them.
