So i always assumed that my hands trembled from rock climbing. does this happen to anyone else? it only happens when i turn my hands side ways. i assume its from straining to get up crimpy routes. Ever hear of anything like this?

I'd get it checked out!
It could be adrenalin or a symptom of something else.

Sounds like you have some nerve damage. You're probably not a surgeon so you're cool.

Only when the voices are telling me to kill someone.Smile

Seriously, this is common when you are jacked up on adrenaline. The trembling, that is. The voices only talk to me. Or so they say.

Some people naturally have a tremor. Things like nicotine & caffeine can increase the tremors.
Some exercises may help reduce it, however, the type of things we do in climbing will tend to make it worse - at least for a period after climbing. There is a reason that many climbers have terrible writing immediately after a climb (either that, or they really don't want to give you their phone number).

If the tremor interferes with your life (enjoyment, job, etc.) definitely see a doctor. If it has suddenly developed, definitely see a doctor. If it is something that was there, and is just made a little worse (temporarily) by climbing, I'd accept that, or you could opt to see a doctor.

I have this problem recently. As well with random twitching of my fingers on my left hand. Oddly enough, climbing seems to make it go away. Maybe I'm getting twitchy from climbing withdrawal!

I'm not worried. I accepted my freakishness a long, long time ago.

From just this little bit of information, there's no way to tell what's causing it. The possibilities could range from it being nothing, to it being hyperthyroid disease or a brain tumor.

This has been happening to me for awhile now. It happens all the time, but increases after climbing.

The doctor called it benign familial tremors, but I call it shaky hands. He also diagnosed me with Raynaud's during the same visit. That was fun
