Planning a trio to EPC from 2/26 to 3/10. Frist time I have been this late in the year. Anyone have experience visiting there during this time? How busy will it be? Do I need to make reservations at a campsite or can I just show-up? One other questions regarding campgrounds; I have always stayed at Posada and loved it. However, this time I was thinking about checking out Pagoda and a few of the other camps. Any suggestions?

I was told there is currently about 100 people there. I would imagine that number will be lower in March as its warmer. However potreroed would be the guy to ask. I'll let you know, I will be there 2/16 - 3/3.

That would be great. Where are you staying? Like I said in the original post, I liked Posada but would be open to other options... Have fun climbing!

I don't know... who do you think it is? Are you some kind of deranged cape wearing spider monkey? Have you ever felt the urge to throw poo down onto your belayer?

I'll be down in EPC from Feb 27th through Mar 7th. I"ll be travelling solo and looking for partners to climb with. If your staying at Posadas and looking for partners look for the tent with a red handkerchief tied to the top. That will be me. Hope to see you there!

Hey NC climber. I am from Boone, NC and i was just at the Potrero in Dec./Jan. I stayed at las azucenas which is Edgardo's campground. It was cheaper, less crowded, and the closest campground to the entrance. The showers were better then at home. Check it out. Although, it is mostly locals so it helps to speak Spanish if you want to socialize. Enjoy! Brett
