Howdy folks, Heading up to the Wichita's this weekend and saw a reference to downed trees obscuring the trails in the Narrows: http://wichitamountains.org/...ndex.php?topic=686.0 Wondering if anyone else has any info on the condition of the trails there. We've been there twice in the last year and still have a tough time finding the proper trails while going through the Narrows, so we don't need any more difficulty!

Just got got back so here's the update: The trail to Zoo wall is in good shape, just a few trees to step over or under. The switchbacks up to Zoo Wall Center (Crazy Alice, etc.) is a wreck. Lots of trees toppled blocking almost all of the switchbacks. Luckily there is a way straight up that will get you there. The trail leading from Zoo Wall over towards Leaning Tower is kind of rough, but passable. The trail continuing on towards Lichen Wall is blocked, so head downhill to the creek and follow that to Lichen Wall. Had perfect weather this weekend. Only saw one other group of climbers in the Narrows, plus another group of hikers. Hit lower Mt. Scott on Monday and only saw a group of three climbers come in, climb Mr Clean and leave. Hope the Quartz Mt. folks had fun at their Spring gathering. Edit to add pictures: The switchbacks: Looking down from the Crazy Alice "platform":
