I was planning a climbing trip to King Bluff and realized that Clarksville had just been flooded. Anyone knows if king bluff is open for climbing? Anyone been there in the last few days?

Thanks

I was there last weekend. If your looking towards the river everything to the right of the staircase is dry and then just a few climbs to the left but we were able to just climb up and over the water whenever the trail dipped down. But, the river is like twice as wide it's pretty cool.

The water level will probably go down a lot in the next 2 weeks. But, is it worth planning a trip up there? I'm from Chattanooga and wouldn't want to go there for nothing.

Should I wait and reschedule the trip?

I think i might re schedule. Are you talking about this coming weekend? I believe they have thunderstorms from now until Monday. But a lot of the fun climbs there were not accessible. I'm back from school and won't be going there for awhile. But maybe someone has been there recently. You should just shoot for Jackson in So Ill and spend the weekend there. I love that place.
