Hi, I'm planing to travel to Austria in August. (I'm actually in Berlin) So, I want to know where is the best place for climbing. I can do 6C (French graduation) onsigth, sometimes. However i the others climb lest difficult routes. So If you want to give ideas, i'll appreciate it too much.. SSHAKA

I will be on a backpacking/climbing trip starting august 1st in Venice. i will be going through the dolomite's on my way to Innsbruck. eventually i will be across Austria to Vienna and i should be there from around august 6th to august 12th. I will be traveling alone so i dont have a belay partner. it would be great if we could meet up and climb together somewhere. let me know if you would like to try and climb. -tony b

Thanks for the advice, it seem to be very good area to begging the trip in Austria... what about the bolds, there are placed such as sport climbing or "alpine style", i mean you need others protection than quickdraw??? --------------------------------------------------------- Who does not have fallen (flown) don't knows yet his limits
