Hi everyone. I'm new to the sport and am looking for people to hit Crowders or the gym. I have very little experience, but I have been following on 5.6-5.8's and a couple of 5.9's. I'm just looking for opportunities to learn, climb, and meet some new folks. Will proivde beer or belay services in exchange for knowledge and wisdom

I boulder at the Crowders Mtn Bouldering access pretty regularly. Have you checked it out?

I live in Kings Mountain and climb at Crowders quite a bit. It is a casual laid back kinda place. You can probably just go hang out and talk to the climbers that you meet there and be invited to climb on their rope, if not I am PMing you with my contact info.

Hey do you have a membership at IP? I am looking for someone to go on a regular basis- 2 times a week after work. I have been climbing for a little over a year. I usually focus on 10s but level doesn't matter much to me as it's all about having fun and getting out to exercise. |

I am planning on getting one as soon as I get back in town (Monday). I travel a lot with work, but I will be up for climbing after work any time I am around. Let me know if you want to get together. Thanks!

Hey there, I'm actually considering getting a membership to IP as well. I've climbed in the past but it's been a long time. I was trying to go 2-3 times a week and boulder.

I don't do a ton of bouldering but if you ever feel like top roping or doing some easy lead let me know.

I'm going to go get a day pass today and take the place for a test drive and then I'll see if I want to get a 6 month membership or not. I'll reply here in a couple days or so and let you know if I'm game for some top roping. I've done tons of top rope climbing, but I've never lead climbed, maybe you can show me and then I would be game.
