Just bought the new scarpa cumbre boots, and want to attach my footfang crampons to them. However, I have a hard time fitting the non-curved crampon to the curved limbing boot. Is there any fix to this besides buying new asymmetric crampons?

you should be able to move the front bail to off-set it so that it can fit the boot. I had a similar problem fitting my M10's to my scarpa alphas all I had to do was move the bail like this. Left boot/crampon: Move the front bail so that RIGHT side of the bail on the LEFT crampon is closer to the back of the crampon. Most have multiple hole in the front where the bail mounts, you simple need to move it (it'll be offset/uneven looking) but it will work great.

You're going to love those Cumbre's! I bought a pair and they are the best thing that evey went on my feet! I too had a bit of a problem adjusting my M10's to them but if you follow the advice of the post above you should be OK.
