Probably not much help but you'll be in the vicinity of Calaveras Dome. Maybe investigate route info further here and on Mountain Project and cross-post your query on Mountain Project and Supertopo.

onyx summit has some pretty easily top ropeable routes. I think Castle rock has some top ropes, and maybe some out at the pinnacles.

Stop by Sierrra Nevada Adventure Co. (SNAC) in Arnold and ask for the "yellow sheet" on highway 4 climbing. It will have instructions on getting to the Spicer crags and also Box Canyon across the highway from Bear Valley. You should also register and check out the Highway 4 threads on sonorapassclimbing.com Thanks, Bob K.

A little late but the two best places are Box Canyon just east of Bear with slabby .3-.9 climbs. I think a Better spot is Spicer Terraces with at least 25 short climbs between .6 and .10 crack, face and a few easy sport climbs. I think all but one or 2 have bolted anchors and it is very easy to top rope. Don't worry about the sign on the dam. We were told it is just a formality. Great weather up there yesterday. Sometimes there is a school there but you can always find climbs. All areas on Hwy 4 are used very little.
