I need to do some road trip planning starting from Jackson WY and drive to see CO, NM, Grand Canyon,
Las Vegas, , LA, Yosemite, all in eight days.

Any suggestions, tips ?

Suggestions would be to NOT go through LA. The traffic is utterly horrible, and will waste a bunch of time. You can do this trip in 8 days, but just "seeing" some of these places is all you will do.

Definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY stop (preferably at a hole in the wall joint) and try the green chile while you are in NM.

So far , jackson, to boulder, to aspen -glenwood,co-grand junction, moab-drive to santa fe NM,-flagstaf AZ, grand canyon, Hover dam, Vegas and then LA (Disney Land)

skip the whole trip... drive straight to Disneyland and spend the whole week there. Climb Magic Mountain take lots of pics and post trip report here. Tongue

Typical tourist.

Drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive, drive.

Try to take a picture without it being blurry = Good luck

I did Google maps for you. Shortest route = 50 hrs of driving.

Rifle has some of the best climbing. It's outside of Glenwood Springs.
