I'm from the western US and in my 50's. I'd like to do some easy climbs in the Alps (Matterhorn, Mt. Blanc, etc.). I'm planning to come to Europe in the late summer or early fall of 2011, and I'm looking for a climbing partner. In exchange, I'd be happy to arrange a climbing trip for you in the Tetons (in western US) where I've been climbing for over 30 years. In my earlier days I made some first ascents (winter & summer) in Alaska & US. But I'm pretty much a low key, easy-going climber. I don't need to risk life and limb. I'm just happy being up in the mountains, getting a good work-out in and enjoying good companionship. If you're a like-minded person living in Europe and might be interested, let me know.

Hey Alpenweg, I was mostly interested in some easy stuff -- and considering your abilities and background, I might be something of boring partner. But we'll keep in contact if you're still interested.
