Anyone getting their kids into slacklining? What has been your experience? What ages were the kids? How about safety harnesses (like that crazy over the shoulder climbing harnesses they use for kids)?
My kids a 3.5 and 5 – but they are fantastic on a balance beam.

I just taught my friend's 7 year old son to do it. I was trying to let him use my shoulder for balance, but what worked better was to just let him try and find his balance while just spotting him. I took about two hours of practice, but now he's taking five or six steps before coming off. I also laid down mattresses and crash pads for saftey.

My nephew is 4yrs old and he loves to "walk the tightline" even he's smart enough to realise it ain't slack!
Ain't he cute?

Im 13 and dean potter taught me how im pretty good at it i like high lines the most. i want to walk lost arrow this summer

Just check the Slacklining photos on this site, some of those kids might be the next LAS slackers.

i envy you tyler. how do you get so lucky living in camp 4 at 13 years old. I'm 14 and i only get to go climbing once a week.
