Hi everyone!

I'm from New York and a group of friends and I were thinking of going on a rock climbing trip during spring break in march. We were thinking somewhere out west but we haven't really settled on anything yet.

I was just wondering if you guys knew of any good places to climb out west in march, aka somewhere not covered in snow. We're climbing in the 5.8 to 5.11 in NY if that helps.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Raiden

It's not out west, but you could always go to the Red - I've been there for my spring break (late march) and it was nice. Highs around 60. It can rain quite a bit but you should be able to find routes in the 10/11 range at least that stay dry enough.

Or out west, Red Rocks (NV), Joshua Tree (CA, all trad), Hueco Tanks (TX, bouldering).

Also not out west, Horse Pens 40 (AL, bouldering), T-wall (trad) or little rock city/stone fort (bouldering), both in TN
