Red Rocks would be perfect in April. Also nice is the Denver/Boulder area. Yosemite should be very nice in May. Josh

Depending on how long your staying, there are alot of options. Western North Carolina is beautiful that time of year. and packed full of great trad lines. RRG is good too. both can be hot in may. but between tenessee and RRG and NC and the New River Gorge(i believe mostly sport) you could make one hell of climbing trip!
