New area being developed in NW Arkansas, potentially the best unroped climbing in the state! Tons of potential for really hard and really fun routes. Pictures to come soon.

I went to this new place last weekend. It is a choss pile. I broke a hold off just about every climb I jumped on. New bouldering place my ace. Forget about this place and go to the Horse Ranch.

This place is going to be gone pretty soon. Not much will be lost though. In my opinion unless you live 30 min away its not worth going to. Pretty much all of the bouldering is gone because of development. And all the routes have been stripped. Given the bolts where not needed. There is one good route it is called The Blade rated 5.10a and its an excellent high ball or solo. My $0.02 Alpine_Guru

The bolts were all on state land, so the state took them out so that they did not get in trouble for violating their liability laws. Yet, they did a shitty job on a couple of routes. Leaving the shanks on one and bending the anchors on the other. As for the house in the field. We shall see how it goes. He is very nice and says that he is fine with climbers as long as they stay out of his yard its self. (Leviathan etc...)
