Have a set of cams from gear4rocks which have a CE certificate. After three times of use,one of the cams took a bit of a fall.On inspection the cam was in bad shape and had become very lose and unsafe to use.
On contacting them they said i over loaded it and that they where not interested.Has any one else used these cams and what did you do about it.

Yeah, it's sarcasm. If placed and used properly, cams are as safe to fall on as any other piece of trad gear, which is pretty safe.

There are about 2 million threads about gear4rocks or Krok, or any of their other names/ the other ukrainian/russian companies.

And as far as i remember no conclusion wether they where a bit crude, but safe or not was reached.

But what exactly did you do to it?
You fell and it held, but it now is in bad shape and its unsafe.
What is bad shape, and how do you know it is unsafe?
did you take another fall and it blew?
did you test it?

Pics?

Personally i am also not sure what to think of them, but there have been cases where shiny, expensive cams by the top shelf manufacturers got rendered useless in harmless falls (or falls that apeared to be harmless).
