I will echo what others have said...don't tell people you can climb 5.10 because you do it in a gym. If meetingup with people to climb, tell them you are new to rock climbing, and you're willing to learn. Most anyone worth climbing with will enjoy the enthusiasm coming off of you and have fun doing a 5.4, or a 5.6, or whatever.

Overselling your abilities will make you a turd in the climbing world very quickly.

I read it as a joke as well..but then I read the last few of superchuffers posts and many of them basically repeat what was said here.
