I am making my first trip out to Tonkawa Falls in a couple of weeks as I cannot stand the climbing gym anymore and need to get my hands on some rock. Too bad the area around Fort Worth is so flat!

With that said I have been searching for topos or a more detailed description of some well established and known boulder routes at Tonkawa. I want to put together a list of some routes I am sure to hit while I am there.

Bloodyflapper.com gives some good descriptions. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a guide book, topos, or maybe even some personal notes of the area that would give me a little more detail.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Be glad you're not in Houston. Unimpressed

Unfortunately I can't help you with the bouldering, but there are a few other options for you...

Mineral Wells is only an hour away, and POB (newly re-opened) is about 1.5 hours or so. Also, the Wichita's is only 3 hours away and is really nice climbing.

Good luck.
