We were coming back from Rumney and decided we should contribute to the RCA. We could find only a very old website and weren't sure if it even exists anymore. Do they exist? Are they active? Do they welcome members? Is there a place to contribute as a non member?

It does exist but the website has not been maintained. There used to be a donation jar at the Rock Barn gym but that is now closed.

post up on NEclimbs.com and ask where a donation can go to.

Thanks. We'll check it out. They don't seem to want donations much..

They do. Problem is the main leaders are not really web based. hence why you need to find them either through Mtn project.. specifically Mark Sprague or on NEclimbs through Mark, Bob, Ward etc.

It would be nice if they started up their meetings again.

After being in email contact with Bob Bruemmer, I wanted to add that the RCA is once again starting their meetings. Tonight, there is a meeting at the Common Man to discuss such issues as updating their site so people will have actual access to the association, see what is being planned and how we all can help.

There will then be another meeting with the USFS to move forward more.

There have been many inquires about the RCA and they have heard us.

Stay tuned!

Here is a link to their new group on Google. http://groups.google.com/.../rumney-upkeep?hl=en. This is where the most up to date information can be found and discussed, if you choose to join.
