Be careful about climbing at the cliffs. I recently started going out there having just moved up to Idaho from Colorado. I went out with my wife over the weekend to do some sport climbing several routes have no bolts/chains/hangers at the top which makes for a danger for experienced and inexperienced climbers alike.

I personally had a choice fall or rig something on the face, because topping out wasn't a option on this route or down climbing. I managed to rig up a rappel. Luckily I had carried all my equipment up the wall with me and didn't have to leave any gear behind. I got myself down to a point where I could down climb however it required aiding. You may ask why I didn't fall because the route I was on would have messed anyone up in the event of a fall. Hindsight is 20/20 and had I known they do that in this area I would have chose to climb else where.

I am just cautioning climbers so they don't end up in a potentially bad situation

They were removed the holes were there. Now they may remove them in this area do to bird restrictions in February .however this was January so no telling why they removed the Top anchors.

Maybe reading the guide book before you start climbing would help. All routes that have no top anchors are noted in the guide.
