JC,
Have a trip planned for Nov the 9th weekend. Partner at work just bailed yesterday. He had never been before so nothing unusual. Planned to go into Linville Gorge and climb at the amphitheater all day saturday then camp saturday night at TR. Let me know.

JC hasn't got back with me yet. Doesn't matter to me, I am all in, just want to go climbing. Will be driving up friday night after work. I am out of Charleston, SC so i get there late. Will stay saturday night at TR then leave early sunday morning to get a jump in on the way home in chester. Keep in touch.

I think that would work. Stay at TR Saturday? Camping? Where Friday night? I'd like to climb Sunday for a bit too. So might not take off and find someone to climb with Sunday. But looking forward to it.

If you got some good light camping gear. I like to hike in Friday night to the gun turret camp site. Then get up and hike the rest in the morning. Climb all day Saturday, then hike back to camp Saturday evening. Pack up camp and hike back to TR and camp there Saturday night with some relaxing by the fire. Sunday morning pack up and head to the airport.

JC still hasn't contacted me yet. If you don't want to hike in Friday night that is fine to. Camp at TR Friday night and do the hike Saturday all the way and back. I can do both. Gun turret is really only big enough for two tents comfortably. Never set up three before but we could try if JC ever contacts.

JohnnyC, it would be helpful to know where you are in NC, there is 5-star climbing all over the place. (I'm in Triad if anyone is interested in Moore's, Pilot or maybe even stone on a cold day)

Yes I am very interested in Pilot, Hanging Rock (moore's) but need more than a few days notice as I am in OBX so 5-6 hours away. Let me know something.

I have Monday's off and could also climb tuesday morning if pressed. Saturdays on occasion as well.
