There are a few people on here that I've seen in the past that have been in need of some help. IE steve got his gear stolen and is asking to buy somebody's cheap used gear, or somekind of trade for something he can use. So far a few people have already agreed to send him a couple of items that they don't use, so help him out. I don't mean to come off rude if I do... T.

You're not rude bro, don't sweat it. I think everyone who can help out should if they can SPARE it, but of course that's all you're asking.

dude, i agree with you 100%. The thing is, I don't have gear to be used, if I did, I would gladly send something his way. When i do go out on ropes, I'm usually on my friends gear as it is (untill I come across some funds this summer). I'm sorry there isn't anything I can do

I really appreciate what you're trying to do for me straightface. I know YOU know how it is to be in this situation, just to start all over from scratch, it's hard... Steve

I would so help ya out, but all i own is a harness ...still workin on shoes and stuff..and i've been climbing a year...how sad is that? Good luck man! ~*Kira*~ you know its bad when you cant spell own..lol [ This Message was edited by: soulclimberchick on 2003-01-10 21:36 ]

Yeah, was wondering what this was about too. IMHO, no, just some touchy feely thread... kinda beats arguments I guess.

yes, a scam post...easysteve, straightface, and tradninety are the same person by the same e-mail in the profiles and ip address on posts. maybe stuff got stolen, but this isn't the way to solicit help. jared
