Rack for Mount Yonah

Greetings, I'm a new trad climber and I was going to cut my teeth on a few of the easy trad routes at Yonah. I've sport climbed there frequently, and it seems like a great place to start. I'll be bringing a buddy (who is experienced trad) but he's never been to Yonah. So I am wondering if anyone could recommend a rack for the right side face. We don't really want to haul his entire rack up there.

Cheers!

Combat boots, Kevlar helmet, bowline on a coil seems to work just fine when I was forced to climb there. Remember a M16 too, but didn't get much use out of it, just got in the way.

Better off going to T-Wall or Sunset to learn.

Heh. Yeah. An assault line and a figure 8 were my first trip. Thanks for the reply. I just realized this is the wrong forum too. Stupid phone obscured part of the name.

No worries, that was my only trip to Yonnah, so I can't be much help. I will say, Sunset and T-wall has some pretty spectacular routes to learn on.

T-Wall, although spectacular, is an oven during the summer. Prepare to bake! Sunset is a much better summer climbing destination. More shade, you can hide from the sun most of the day. Sunset has some great moderates to learn on.
